Food engineering processes Modeling of physico-chemical properties of biomedia

These activities are related to the study of dispersive mixing operations applied to semi-continuous and continuous production of foams, emulsions and protein recovery from co-products with special applications in food, cosmetic and agricultural engineering processes. The development of thermodynamic models for characterization of equilibrium and transport properties of biological and food solutions also belongs to this theme. These studies are a prerequisite for any bioprocess simulation perspective.
